Fully Extruded Aluminum Components
Every major component of our structure is made of fully extruded aluminum, that than cheaper roll formed aluminum used by many competitors. Extruded aluminum has a higher tensile strength and allows for a stronger system with longer spans without defection.
Premium Powder Coating Process
The standard powder coating process applied by most suppliers is insufficient to hold up in environmental conditions such as salr, water, chlorine, sun, etc. StruXure uses PPG 2604 premium textured matte finish available in 5 colors. Requires more steps, can only be done by trained professionals but provides a longer-lasting finish.
Patented Interlocking Louver Design
StruXure has engineered and patented the best-performing louver design in the market. This patented interlocking louver design provides superior performance in both sunny and rain conditions. This ability to eliminate dripping between the louvers has made StruXure the manufacturer of choice for hotels, resorts, restaurants and country clubs.

Automated Wind and Rain Sensors
StruXure OS can be integrated with a wind and rain sensor for fully automated louver control in poor weather conditions. The rain sensor can be programmed to automatically close the roof upon detection of rain. Similiarly, the wind sensor can be preset to open or close the louvers at specific windspeeds. It is recommended to keep the louvers open with higher windspeeds to avoid uplift of the system.
360° Integrated Gutter System
Each system has a fully extruded 5.5" gutter system that encompasses the perimeter of each zone. This allows for superior water management. We can utilize our posts to act a downspout to provide a clean, minimalist look. No system handles rain and water better than StruXure Outdoors. For larger systems we offer a new 7" commercial gutter system with a 4" lip to handle 3 times the water as the 5.5" option.
Smart Motor Technology powered by Somfy
StruXure has partnered with Somfy to offer customers the most technologically advanced system available. With hand held remotres, wireless wall switches and somfy integrations to work with smart phones, tablets, and smart home systems. The Somfy motor is a linear actuator exclusive to StruXure to work quietly and covered by a 5 year warranty.
